That bell you can hear means school term has finally ended. Yes, summer is officially here!

Lessons might be over but we’ve put together a summer timetable of fun events and activities to keep you and the kids entertained over the coming weeks.

So make the most of those long summer days with our School of Fork’s curriculum of fun! We’ve even included some ideas for packed lunches to fuel your fun-packed days out.

So here’s your homework. Study the list of free and cheap brilliant things to do below. But pay careful attention to the text because we’ll be testing you later.

Packed lunches that pack a punch….
If you’re heading out, you’ll want to take a packed lunch that’s quick to make but really satisfying. Cold pasta salad with chopped Porky Whites Chipolatas is always a winner when kids have worked up an appetite.

Or add some couscous and some of our delicious meaty Originals to your fresh, seasonal salad – perfect for those long summer days.

Why not grab yourself a pack of our delicious Porky Light Sausagemeat. Lower in fat, it’s ideal for creating your own healthier summer picnic options like succulent scotch eggs and sausage rolls.

Or, because it wouldn’t be summer without someone peeling, simply grab a pack of your favourite Porky Whites sausages and peel the skin off. Instant versatile and succulent sausagemeat! Of course, long hot summers are what the barbie was made for, so stock up on our succulent Chuck Steak burgers, add some crispy rolls, a bowl of zingy salad and everyone’s full and happy.

And ready to do it all again tomorrow. Happy days!
